Ladrôme Organic Baobab Vegetable Oil 100ml is a food supplement based on vegetable oil obtained by first cold pressing of the fruit's seeds. Baobab seeds contain 15% of a vegetable oil rich in essential fatty acids, used in both food and cosmetics! Its perfectly balanced composition of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids (omega-6 and 9) gives it its emollient, softening, regenerating and healing properties. Easy to absorb into the skin, this oil nourishes, soothes and helps regenerate the skin, being especially appreciated by dry, irritated, damaged skin, prone to cracking and stretch marks. It is also rich in polyphenols and flavonoids, compounds well known for their antioxidant benefits, therefore helping to prevent wrinkles and slow down skin aging! It is also ideal for nourishing and protecting very dry, frizzy, curly or brittle hair.

    Vegetable oil: What is it?
A vegetable oil is an oil extracted directly from seeds, fruits, or other oilseed parts of plants. The extraction method may be cold pressing or other methods that do not involve heat or chemicals, in order to maintain the natural properties and nutrients of the oil. Vegetable oils are pure and contain no additives other than the compounds naturally present in the plant from which they were extracted.

    Did you know that:
The baobab is a characteristic tree of the savannah, notable for its large shape and size. It is rarely cultivated and grows mainly in the wild. Known as the "tree of a thousand uses," it has long been used by Africans for its medicinal properties. The fruit pulp, known as "monkey bread," is very rich in vitamin C, containing 6 times more vitamin C than an orange of the same volume. It also contains significant amounts of other vitamins (B1, B2, and B3) and is referenced in traditional African pharmacopoeia for relieving intestinal problems, particularly diarrhea.
