Descrição
Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) is a rare mushroom considered a delicacy. It grows on very old but still living chestnut, oak, beech, and walnut trees. It grows on trunks to a height of 3 to 4 meters. The name derives from the shape of its fruiting body, which resembles a lion's mane.
Properties:
The effects of Lion's Mane are visible in both the gastric and intestinal mucosa, as it regenerates the mucosa. It is very useful in the treatment of gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, chronic inflammation of the gastric mucosa, side effects related to chemotherapy and radiotherapy, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, and heartburn. The presence of a substance similar to Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) stimulates myelin synthesis and the reconstruction of nerve fibers. It is of particular interest to the nervous system and in the treatment of stress, anxiety, memory impairment, and insomnia. Clinical studies have also shown promising results in the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimer's. The presence of immunomodulatory polysaccharides and its tropism for epithelia and the nervous system make it useful in the treatment of dermatological, allergic, or food intolerance diseases (dermatitis). Lion's Mane helps regenerate the intestinal mucosa and maintain the balance of intestinal flora, making it very useful in the treatment of intestinal dysbiosis, with the resulting inflammatory changes in the mucosa; increased intestinal permeability (Leaky Gut Syndrome).
Its effects are visible both at the gastric and intestinal mucosa level, since it has a regenerative action on the mucosa , it is very useful in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments.
