NEO SUN MUSHROOM is obtained from pure, organically produced Agaricus blazei Murill extract, free of maltodextrins and allergens. It comes in a gastro-resistant vegetable capsule, which protects the active ingredients of mushrooms and plants from the acidic environment of the stomach, in addition to improving their bioavailability. Thanks to microgranules, an advanced galenic technology that optimizes, protects, and regulates the release of active ingredients. In the development and production of this supplement, we used organic vitamin C, obtained from the Camu-Camu plant species (Myrciaria dubia), on the outer layer of the microgranule (coating). After ingesting the microgranule, vitamin C is released immediately, preceding the active ingredients of the mushrooms, thus favoring the absorption of the polysaccharides, thus optimizing their physiological action.

The Sun Mushroom (Agaricus blazei Murill) is a mushroom native to the mountainous regions of the Atlantic Forest in southern São Paulo state, in the city of Piedade (Colauto et al. 2002). In the 1960s, Japanese epidemiologists studied the native population of Piedade and observed that disease rates in this region were extremely low. After analyzing their dietary habits, they discovered that regular consumption of this mushroom, identified in 1972 as Agaricus blazei Murill, was linked to the low disease rate.

This mushroom is attributed with preventing neoplastic diseases, hyperlipidemia, arteriosclerosis, chronic hepatitis, and type I and II diabetes. Agaricus blazei Murill acts like a sponge in the intestinal tract, absorbing pathogens and waste cells, which it expels from the body through feces. It is vitally important for the biological origin of crops due to its high capacity as a bioaccumulator of toxins and heavy metals from crop substrates, and for this very reason, it is very useful for use in chelation therapies.

The enzymes it contains, including superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase, and catalases, help increase energy, combat inflammation, and enhance antioxidant activity. Sun Mushroom has been shown to possess antimutagenic, bactericidal, and antiangiogenic activity and is a powerful systemic stimulant of the immune system, promoting natural defense mechanisms in the fight against a variety of infectious agents (Dr. Takashi Mizuno).

BD-glucans are water-soluble polysaccharides that are involved in stimulating the immune system.

Vitamins: rich in vitamins B1, B2 and ergosterol (pro-vitamin D), which participate in numerous metabolic processes, especially those related to carbohydrate and fat metabolism.

Free amino acids: contains large amounts of glutamine, alanine, threonine, aspartic acid, valine, lysine and arginine.

Organic acids: large concentration of malic acid and, in smaller concentrations, pyroglutamic acid, fumaric acid and succinic acid.

Other components: lectins and enzymes (cellulase, hemicellulase, chitin, amylase, pectinase, phenol oxidase, lactase, tyrosinase peroxidase) which take advantage of their oxidizing character with germicidal and bactericidal purposes. Antiangiogenic compounds (sodium pyroglutamate A-1 and A-2).
