    Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (IUPAC: 4-aminobutanoic acid), also known by its acronym GABA (Gamma-AminoButyric Acid), is an aminobutyric acid in which the amino group is at the end of the carbon chain. It is the main inhibitory neurotransmitter in the mammalian central nervous system. It plays an important role in regulating neuronal excitability throughout the nervous system. It is an important neurotransmitter, acting as a neurosynaptic inhibitor by binding to specific receptors. It is classified as an inhibitory neurotransmitter because it decreases nervous tension (decreases the action potential in neurons), thus having anxiolytic and tranquilizing effects. This formula is also enriched with vitamin B6, which is essential for the synthesis of GABA.



    Contains no sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, egg, milk, seafood or preservatives.
