    Normolip 5 is a dietary supplement based on red yeast rice also known as Monocoline, Chromium, Gamma Oryzanol, Coenzyme Q10 and Policosanols.

    Indicated to control high cholesterol levels when combined with an adequate diet.

    Free from animal components. Made from red yeast rice (contains natural HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors, which inhibit the enzymatic reaction necessary for cholesterol production in the body).

    Gamma-Oryzanol (Red Rice)
    Action: Hypocholesterolemic and hypotriglyceridemiant.
    Effect: A specific component of rice bran oil, the administration of which has been shown to influence plasma total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol concentrations. It has also been shown to have beneficial effects on physiological plasma triglyceride levels.

    Chrome
    Action: Participates in insulin synthesis and controls cholesterol levels.
    Effect: Regulates blood glucose.

    Phytosterols
    Action: Hypocholesterolemizing.
    Effect: Phytosterol, whose structure is similar to cholesterol, has a competitive effect on the intestinal tract, limiting the absorption of exogenous cholesterol. The integration of phytosterols in the diet can help regulate cholesterol levels.
