    Dietmed Proakne 30 Capsules is a dietary supplement indicated for the treatment of acne and reduction of skin inflammation.

    Acne, or Acne vulgaris, is a chronic disease of the sebaceous glands. It occurs primarily during puberty and can persist into adulthood in 50% of people, despite treatment. This is why it ranks as the 8th most common skin disease, with a global prevalence of 9.4%, making it the main reason for dermatologist visits.
    This disease is caused by the bacterium Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes), associated with interleukin 8 (IL-8), a pro-inflammatory protein. Other causes of acne include excess sebum, stress, changes in the microbiota, and hormonal changes.
    This dietary supplement contains vitamins and trace elements in its composition, as well as a bioactive extract (VerbasnolTM) and a probiotic complex (BifiacnelTM).
