    Biokygen Vitamin K2 + D3 is a dietary supplement that plays an important role in the maintenance of organs and systems, through multiple functions, such as: regulating calcium and phosphorus levels in the blood; preventing calcium deposition in the arteries, preventing atherosclerosis; and promoting normal blood clotting.

    New studies have highlighted the synergistic effects of Vitamin K (specifically Vitamin K2) and Vitamin D on cardiovascular health and bone strength.

    Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin found in two molecules: cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), produced in the skin, and ergocalciferol (vitamin D2), of plant origin. Vitamin D3 is a form of vitamin D that is highly assimilated by the human body. One of the main functions of vitamin D is to maintain adequate blood levels of calcium and phosphorus in the body and aid in the intestinal absorption of calcium, which, along with phosphorus, is essential for bone mineralization. One of its main functions is the activation of a protein called osteocalcin, produced by osteoblasts, which in turn is necessary for the assimilation of calcium into the bone matrix.
