    Folate, also known as folic acid, is one of the B vitamins. The folate form present in this dietary supplement is Quatrefolic® (Glucosamine Salt of (6S)-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate Acid), an innovative dietary ingredient structurally analogous to the active form of folic acid. It represents the fourth generation of folate, providing greater stability, greater water solubility, and flexibility in multi-ingredient formulations compared to the calcium salt of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (folate), ensuring improved bioavailability.
