Cypress has vasoprotective action, aiding blood flow to the lower limbs, preventing edema, and aids in diuresis. Hibiscus acts as a liver cleanser, regulates kidney and liver function, and helps with constipation. Anise has no effect in this composition, having been added only to sweeten and reduce the bitter taste of the other extracts.
